Thanksgiving-Style Turkey Meatballs Recipe

Turkey roasting is laborious. Making Thanksgiving turkey can be a huge undertaking with dire consequences if you mess up, even if you love cooking. A dry turkey makes Thanksgiving even harder to imagine.

– 1 pound ground turkey – 1 egg – ¼ cup breadcrumb – 1 tablespoon finely chopped sage – 2 teaspoons salt, divided – 1 teaspoon white pepper – 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce – 1 tablespoon minced shallot – 1 teaspoon grated garlic – ¼ cup butter – ¼ cup flour – 2 cups turkey stock – 2 sprigs thyme – 1 tablespoon heavy whipping cream – 1 teaspoon black pepper

Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a wire rack and a baking sheet with foil. Apply oil to the rack.
