Creamy Chai Vanilla Milkshake Recipe

Milkshakes bring back childhood memories. Beverage or dessert? Maybe both? The word "milkshake" was first used in the Victorian era, but those milkshakes were very different from those we consume today.

– ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon – ⅛ teaspoon ground cardamom – ⅛ teaspoon ground ginger – Pinch of ground clove – Pinch of ground nutmeg – Pinch of ground allspice – 1 cup vanilla ice cream – ¼ cup whole milk – 1 teaspoon milk powder – ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Create a chai spice blend by mixing ground cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, and allspice in a small bowl.

Mix vanilla ice cream, milk, milk powder, vanilla extract, and chai spice blend in a food processor.

To make the ingredients smooth, turn on the food processor and blend for 20 to 30 seconds.

Transfer the chilled chai milkshake into a shaker glass, garnish with desired toppings, and serve right away.
